The COVID virus sure has changed a lot of things. Photographers may have to host their sessions differently… especially newborn sessions. My sweet friend was finishing up her residency program and about to move across the country. Most of their things were already packed up, so doing an in-home lifestyle newborn session was out of the question. They still wanted to get newborn photos of their sweet baby boy to remember this most precious time.
This was my first official outdoor newborn session, and now I’m wondering why in the world I haven’t done this type of session before! This was a way to capture intimate pictures of this new family with the beautiful backdrop that Birmingham Botanical Gardens provides. I certainly love my studio posed newborn sessions, but that may not be everyone’s style! So now I want to start offering on location lifestyle newborn sessions as a great alternative.
In home lifestyle sessions work great for clients that have really well-lit rooms with lots of natural light and neutral color palettes, but not every home has this combination. So have you considered doing an outdoor newborn session?? Look how precious these photos are! Oh I am in love!!
